Mythic Rare Cycle Finished With Green’s Primal Adversary In Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

Check out the last card in the mythic rare adversary cycle.

Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Gaby Spartz, take a look at the last card in the Adversary cycle in Innistrad: Midnight Hunt — Primal Adversary!

While the other four Adversaries have been two-mana creatures, the green card in the cycle is three mana for a 4/3 Wolf with trample. Let’s see what the additional bonus ability offers us.

When Primal Adversary enters the battlefield, you may pay 1G any number of times. When you pay this cost one or more times, put that many +1+1 counters on Primal Adversary, then up to that many target lands you control become 3/3 Wolf creatures with haste that are still lands.

For every two mana you pour into Primal Adversary, you can turn a land into a 3/3 Wolf with haste. If you need an army in a can, this card has got you covered. For five mana you get a 5/4 and a 3/3. At seven mana you get a 6/5 and two 3/3s — twelve power across three bodies is nothing to scoff at.

What do you think of Primal Adversary? Does the green card in the cycle live up to the other four? Which Adversary is the strongest?

Innistrad: Midnight Hunt is currently scheduled for release on September 24. View our official preview gallery.
