Another professional athlete can show off his love of TCGs and Pokémon while flashing some leather thanks to a piece of custom gear.
Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Will Klein unveiled his one-of-a-kind baseball glove, featuring a Neo Discovery Tyranitar, on social media on Wednesday.
The glove was created by 44 Pro, a premium sports equipment brand known for its gloves and bats, and showcases Klein’s favorite Pokémon in a sleeve and top loader attached to the outside of the glove.
While the glove has resistance to psychic and fly balls, Klein noted in his interview on social media that he wasn’t sure if he could use it in an official MLB game.
44 Pro added in a comment on X that the gloves uses an empty top loader, so the player can insert any card they want into it. If the responses on social media are any indication, the demand for this type of glove is much higher than expected.
