Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Clotaka, take a look at this green X spell from Strixhaven: School of Mages — Ecological Appreciation!
Most comparable to cards like Chord of Calling and Finale of Devastation, Ecological Appreciation is green’s newest X spell that searches your library and graveyard for creatures and put’s them onto battlefield. This time however, your opponent is ultimately in charge of which two creatures you get. Since Ecological Appreciation starts off at three mana and then requires you to pay X on top of that, it’s likely that we’ll see this card as a top end finisher spell for decks that produce a great deal of mana.
So what do you think of Ecological Appreciation? Will it see constructed play like its predecessors, or find a home in Commander? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
