Gavin Verhey kicked off Monday’s black previews for Time Spiral Remastered with Good Morning Magic unveiling three cards, including a timeshifted legend from Fate Reforged — Tasigur, the Golden Fang!
An immediate fan favorite from the Khans of Tarkir block, Tasigur, the Golden Fang showed off the power of delve and its activated ability in Modern and Commander. Tasigur got new extended art in Ultimate Masters. but now gets a classic feel with a timeshifted frame.
Verhey also gave a quick lore recap from the Weatherlight and Time Spiral blocks, explaining how the Crovax and Mirri arcs were swapped to show what would have happened if Mirri became cursed in the story. As Mirri the Cursed appeared in Planar Chaos, the Vampire Cat is back in Time Spiral Remastered with new art.
The other card Verhey previewed was Dunerider Outlaw. The two-mana 1/1 was a color shifted version of Whirling Dervish, a card that showed up on the bonus sheet of Time Spiral.
