On the release day of Time Spiral Remastered, Gavin Verhey uses today’s episode of Good Morning Magic to go over a few fun facts from the timeshifted cards on the bonus sheet.
With Lord of Atlantis appearing on the original bonus sheet in Time Spiral, having Master of the Pearl Trident on Time Spiral Remastered‘s bonus sheet makes a great reference while giving a loved card the old border.
Putting cards from Khans of Tarkir was a fun way to play with the concept of time, due to the events in the set being erased from the story in Fate Reforged. Alesha, Who Smiles at Death and Tasigur, the Golden Fang show up timeshifted as well from Fate Reforged.
Desert showed up on the Time Spiral bonus sheet, so the team went with Ramunap Ruins as a desert callback that also plays well with other deserts.
The tombstone in the upper left corner of cards, which debuted in Odyssey, returns on the bonus sheet on cards that not only have flashback, but that play well from the graveyard like Prized Amalgam and Stinkweed Imp.
With Nicol Bolas, one of the original elder dragons, returning on the bonus sheet in Time Spiral, it was fun a idea to have one of the newer iterations of the elder dragons show up in Time Spiral Remastered: Arcades, the Strategist.
The promo Louts Bloom uses the art from the original Time Spiral prerelease promo Lotus Bloom, but now has the timeshifted frame.
