Chandra, Dressed to Kill Arrives To Heat Things Up In Innistrad: Crimson Vow

Chandra returns in style to crash Olivia’s wedding in Innistrad: Crimson Vow

Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) take a look at the return of red’s most iconic planeswalker in Innistrad: Crimson Vow — Chandra, Dressed to Kill!

[+1]: Add R. Chanda, Dressed to Kill deals 1 damage to up to one target creature or planeswalker.

[+1]: Exile the top card of your library. If it’s red, you may cast it this turn.

[-7]: Exile the top five cards of your library. You may cast red spells from among them this turn. You get an emblem with “Whenever you cast a red spell, this emblem deals X damage to any target, where X is the amount of mana spent to cast that spell.”

Chandra, Dressed to Kill follows a familiar ability template of her previous iterations, but is considerably stronger since she only costs three mana. With three starting loyalty, Chandra is able to activate one of two +1 abilities each turn, allowing you to choose between dealing damage to a creature or planeswalker, or exiling the top card of your library and potentially being able to cast it.

The flexibility of dealing damage or gaining card advantage makes it a reasonable inclusion in many different decks, and in classic Chandra fashion, her -7 ability is essentially game ending if you manage to keep her around.

So what do you think of Chandra, Dressed to Kill? Just how dangerous is this three-mana planeswalker in Innistrad: Crimson Vow Standard? Let us know what you think in the comments.
