Black Gets Mythic Rare Demon In Lord of the Forsaken In Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

The final mythic rare from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt has been revealed

Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) take a look at this mythic rare Demon from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt — Lord of the Forsaken!

Flying, trample

B, Sacrifice another creature: Target player mills thee cards.

Pay 1 life: Add C. Spend this mana only to cast a spell from your graveyard.

An Innistrad-based set wouldn’t be complete without a big, mythic Demon, and Lord of the Forsaken is a strong one at that. A six-mana 6/6 with flying and trample, Lord of the Forsaken is a sizeable threat that comes equipped with some unique abilities. By paying one black mana and sacrificing a creature, you can either force another player to mill three cards or target yourself to fill the graveyard. This is not only a great way to enable your reanimation spells, but could also potentially mill out your opponent if you have enough spare mana and creatures to sacrifice.

Lord of the Forsaken’s final ability allows you to pay one life and get a colorless mana in return. While that mana can only be spent to cast spells from the graveyard, this ability has no requirements aside from paying life, meaning you can activate it multiple times and get a huge discount on your flashback spells and beyond.
