The Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair X (formerly Twitter) account revealed another inclusion coming in the Spring Superdrop 2024 — Poker Faces!

The Poker Faces drop gives five cards the traditional face card treatment from a typical deck of playing cards. These cards are textless other than the names of the cards, power and toughness, and the mana cost which is located in the top right and bottom left corners of the card.

The five cards in the Poker Faces drop are:

  • Professional Face-Breaker
  • Rankle, Master of Pranks
  • Jaxis, the Troublemaker
  • Goblin King
  • Coffin Queen

A closeup of Coffin Queen can be seen below.

The five cards feature illustrations by Bene Rohlmann. The Poker Faces drop will be part of the Spring Superdrop 2024 and will be available for purchase starting at 9 AM PT on May 13.

The Showcase: Outlaws of Thunder Junction drop was also unveiled this week, giving five more cards the wanted poster treatment.

The five cards in the Showcase: Outlaws of Thunder Junction drop are:

  • Magda, Brazen Outlaw
  • Dack Fayden
  • Greasefang, Okiba Boss
  • Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
  • Norin the Wary

The Poker Faces and Showcase: Outlaws of Thunder Junction drops join the sAnS mERcy drop and the Hatsune Miku drop previewed last week in the Spring Superdrop 2024.
