As part of an ongoing series of weekly changes, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the updates and changes for week five of Zendikar Rising on Magic Online.

- November 4–18: Vintage Cube
- November 18–25: No Events (launch weekend of Commander Legends)
- November 25–December 2: Kyle O’Neill’s Core Set Cube
- December 2–9: Chaos Draft: Masters Sets
- December 9–16: Supreme Draft: CHAOS!
- December 16–23: A brand-new Cube Spotlight
- December 23 – 30: Supreme Draft: Vintage Cube
Zendikar Rising Redemption Delays
Due to continued production delays caused by COVID-19, the start of Zendikar Rising redemption is delayed until further notice.
Limited Split Championship Qualifier

The winner will be awarded qualification to the Zendikar Rising Split Championship on MTG Arena. The qualifying season for the Zendikar Rising Split Championship end on November 1. Season 3 QPs will continue to be valid through December 6 (or December 9 for MOCS Last Chance Events).
Format Challenges
Format Challenges are scheduled to run every weekend for the foreseeable future and are the “first step to qualifying for Premier Play.” The schedule for upcoming Format Challenges can be found below:

Next Downtime
The next downtime is scheduled for November 18 at 9 AM PT until noon. This is for the release of Commander Legends.
Build Notes
- Modal double-faced cards that are only lands on their back sides will no longer be seen as lands by cards like Land Grant that look for land cards in hand.
- Players who purchased the Legacy Eternal Weekend token will no longer have access to cards not in their collection with Wednesday’s no-downtime release. (Players who purchased both the Legacy and Vintage tokens are unaffected.)
