Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and YouTuber eMpTyG, check out a saga from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth that introduces Smaug to Magic: The Gathering — There and Back Again!

This saga follows the story of awakening the last great dragon, Smaug, who hoarded treasure on the Lonely Mountain. The first chapter lets you make one creature unable to be blocked as long as you control There and Back Again. The Ring tempts you is also fittingly in the first chapter.

The second chapter allows you to search for a Mountain and put it onto the battlefield. Finally, the third chapter creates a Smaug token, which is a legendary 6/6 red Dragon creature token with a flavorful ability. When Smaug dies, you get 14 Treasure tokens — one for each dwarf and Bilbo Baggins!

What do you think of There and Back Again? What is the best thing you can think of doing with a boatload of Treasure tokens? Let us know what you think in the comments on Facebook and Twitter.
