Get ready for $50,000 in Modern Magic action this weekend at SCG CON Columbus and that’s just the tip of the iceberg! On top of the two Modern 20Ks and a Modern 10K, SCG CON also has Dominaria United prerelease events and plenty of Flesh and Blood action over three days.

Friday

The first of two Modern 20Ks starts Friday afternoon along with a variety of Dominaria United prerelease events. Do you want to play a traditional prerelease, two-headed giant, or what about a full box sealed prerelease? SCG CON has it all this weekend!

Modern 20K

Format: Modern

Structure:

Day 1: 8 Rounds of Swiss 

  • All players with 18 or more match points advance to Day 2 

Day 2: 5 Rounds of Swiss

  • Top 12 players advance to single elimination playoffs

Top 12 Single Elimination Playoff 

  • 1st-4th ranked players after Swiss receive a bye in playoffs

Commander Celebration

For those wanting to play as much Commander as possible, the Commander Celebration is available for $80. The package provides access to the Command Zone all weekend, non-foil Sol Ring and Path of Ancestry promo cards, Path of Ancestry playmat, deck box, four Commander pod vouchers, and a badge and lanyard.

Infinite Challenge

The Magic Infinite Challenge package allows you to enter as many of the Challenges (more than 30 scheduled) on the weekend for the low price of $150 via online registration. Entry also comes with the choice of one of more than 20 playmats on the prize wall.
