Thanks to a series of early listings, keen-eyed Reddit users have uncovered a series of new details for the upcoming set — Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate.
Shared to the MagicTCG subreddit by user Copernicus1981, the Bundle information was sourced from a listing on 401Games.
According to the post, the Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Bundle will include:
- Eight (8) Set boosters.
- Twenty (20) premium lands + 20 regular lands.
- One (1) premium bundle card.
- One (1) oversized Undercity dungeon card.
- Two (2) reference cards.
- One (1) oversized spindown.
- One (1) storage box.
Of note, the Bundle will have an oversized Dungeon card, confirming the addition of a fourth Dungeon — the Undercity Dungeon. The bundle appears to be listed for preorder at $74.95.
The Reddit user also shared information on the potential contents of the Prelease Kits and Commander decks, however they did not provide a source for either, so the following information should be considered speculation until confirmed or denied by Wizards of the Coast (WotC).
Prerelease Kit
- Three (3) Draft boosters
- One (1) Premium foil-stamped card
- One (1) Dungeon token
- One (1) MTG Arena code card
- One (1) Storage box
- One (1) Non-spindown D20 dice
Interestingly, the bundle contains a D20 spindown, while the Prerelease Kit appears to have a normal D20.
Commander Decks
- One (1) 98 card deck + 1 cardboard Commander
- Three (3) Premium cards
- Ten (10) Double-sided tokens
- One (1) Collector sample pack
- One (1) reference card
- One (1) Insert card
- One (1) Life wheel with deck-based art
- One (1) deckbox
While we don’t have much more information to go on, there has been at least one new Amazon listing for the Commander decks, and while they have yet to populate the “about this item” field, it’s worth keeping an eye on.
