The Judge Academy announced the Q4 2022 promos today, after teasing the art for the cards earlier this week.
After realizing all the Judge Promos this year were enchantments, many fans guessed that the cards were Animate Dead and Purphoros, God of the Forge. Now we can see them in all their glory.
Animate Dead keeps its iconic type line of “Enchant Dead Creature” as the Alpha reanimation spell gets its fourth illustration following its reprints for Eternal Masters and the Premium Deck Series: Graveborn version. Purphoros, originally printed in Theros, receives its third illustration after the Secret Lair reprint.
These two join the list of cards like Omniscience, Great Auramancy, Parallel Lives, Stranglehold, No Mercy, Training Grounds, Smothering Tide, and Growing Rites of Itlimoc from this year’s Judge Academy promos.
