Hatsune Miku is coming to Magic: The Gathering in the form of multiple Secret Lair drops.
The first of four Secret Lair drops, Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar will include six cards using art from Miku fans from around the world. Hatsune Miku is an incredibly popular music software developed by Crypton Future Media, INC. The character of Hatsune Miku morphed into a cultural phenomenon over the years spanning the globe, even selling out live performances as a virtual singer.
The Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar drop includes these six cards:
- 1x Shelter
- 1x Chandra’s Ignition as “Miku’s Spark”
- 1x Harmonize
- 1x Azusa, Lost but Seeking as “Miku, Lost but Singing”
- 1x Feather, the Redeemed as “Miku, the Renowned”
- 1x Inspiring Vantage
The Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar drop will cost $29.99 for non-foil and $39.99 for rainbow foil. There will be four Hatsune Miku drops throughout 2024, with each being included in a Superdrop. Each drop will be available in English and Japanese.
Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar will be part of the Spring Superdrop 2024 and will be available for purchase starting at 9 AM PT on May 13. The run is scheduled to be for sale until June, or while supplies last as Secret Lair drops shifted to a limited-print-run model over the print-to-demand model at the start of the year.
