Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced that the upcoming launch of Magic: The Gathering’s newest set, Dominaria United, will be experiencing delays due to “logistical issues” in the Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions.

Asia-Pacific

Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, South Korea, and New Zealand

For these countries, Dominaria United Jumpstart Boosters will not be available for prerelease events or for the September 9 release. WotC expects that they will be available “shortly after” the full release however.

China

Local game stores in China will not be experiencing the shortage of Jumpstart Boosters, but instead will have to wait until late September for the Jumpstart-2 pack and early October for Dominaria United Bundles and Commander decks.

Japan

Collector Boosters will be unavailable for the initial prerelease events, but are expected by the September 9 release. Prerelease events for Japan local game stores will be extended to accommodate these delays.

Taiwan and Hong Kong

Japanese-language Set Boosters have been delayed for these countries and are expected to be available by late September.

Australia

Jumpstart 2-Pack and Draft Multipacks will be delayed until late September.

Latin America

Dominaria United Prerelease Kits and “additional products” will experience initial delays throughout the region and are expected to arrive one week after the initial launch. Prerelease scheduling for Latin American local game stores will be extended through September 22 to accommodate these delays.
