Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the upcoming schedule and awards for MTG Arena players when Standard and Alchemy rotate with the release of Dominaria United in September.

When Dominaria United is released on September 9, players will say goodbye to Zendikar Rising, Kaldheim, Strixhaven: School of Mages, and Adventures in the Forgotten Realms in Standard and Alchemy.

Standard will consist of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, Innistrad: Crimson Vow, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, Streets of New Capenna, and Dominaria United. Alchemy will use those sets along with the Alchemy expansions for each as well as Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate and Alchemy 2022.

The MTG Arena New Player Decks and Jump-In Packets will be updated with the release of Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate. Following rotation, Individual Card Rewards (ICRs) will be updated to only include cards from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt onward. Quick Drafts will also only feature sets currently in Standard.

The MTG Arena renewal egg will appear in the client in August. Hovering over the graphic will show players how long until rotation. When rotation happens the renewal egg will reward players with 10 (ICRs), five will be a rare from each remaining Standard set while the other five will be four rares from Dominaria United and a mythic rare from Dominaria United. The set mastery track will also include additional Dominaria United packs and ICRs.
