Last week, several Reddit users posted images of what appeared to be cards from the upcoming Magic: The Gathering set, Double Masters 2022, in Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Collector Boosters.
Today, we start off the week with another apparent leak, this time from Reddit user Muggletron.
The second of last week’s leaks showed what appeared to be two of the other Eldrazi titans – Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. Reddit users at the time speculated that the set numbering for those cards indicated that (if legitimate) Ulamog was likely also in the set, and today’s post appears to confirm their theory.
According to Muggletron, the card was opened at a Local Game Store (LGS) in Louisiana and has the texture of a gilded foil variant, but could possibly be the brand-new foil treatment in the set.
Many users are suggesting that (if real) they get the card graded, as a gilded foil misprint could fetch a high price, especially since the date of grading would pre-date the card’s actual release.
