Legend Story Studios (LSS) has announced the long-awaited Flesh and Blood crossover product with The Professor from the Tolarian Community College YouTube channel.
Round the Table: LSS x TCC is a box set designed for Flesh and Blood casual multiplayer action featuring four ready-to-play Blitz decks that lend themselves to Ultimate Pit Fight (UPF) gameplay with more than 100 new cards. The product was developed with Brian Lewis (The Professor) of TCC and introduces three new characters, including one inspired by him.
The three new heroes in the box set are Professor Teklovossen (The Professor’s card that is a take on Teklovossen coming in Bright Lights), Brevant, Civic Protector, and Melody, Sing-along. Fan-favorite Ira, Crimson Haze will also be used in the product aimed toward new players with beginner-friendly mechanics, innovative characters, and collaboration built into the gameplay for a casual four-player format for newcomers and veterans alike.
On top of the more than 100 new cards coming in the Round the Table: LSS x TCC box set, the product also comes with a 24″ rubber playmat, and a 1,000 count Teklo Industries storage box. The product is set for release on September 29 and in an effort to support the industry, the set will only be distributed to local game stores. The product has an MSRP of $69.90.
LSS CEO and Flesh and Blood creator, James White, said the product is the combination of a shared vision for the love of community and local game stores.
“It’s an honor to collaborate with The Professor, one of the world’s greatest advocates of social gaming and a vocal champion of local game stores as important community hubs where people can get round the table to play great games together,” White said. “It’s this shared vision that brought The Professor and Legend Story Studios together to create this project, and is why Round the Table: LSS x TCC will only be available from local game stores around the world. This release will be quickly followed by our Bright Lights set, which is a fantastic way for newcomers to Flesh and Blood to discover our tried and true one-on-one format which has won over fans around the world and made us the challenger in the industry we are.”
First looks at the packaging for Round the Table: LSS x TCC were spotted at US Nationals this past weekend, as North American Organized Play Manager Francesca Volante showed off the storage box.
