Last weekend, I had the honor of watching South Texas’s finest compete in Regionals. Sadly, none of the finest made Top 8, and when the dust settled we were left with a new crop of Texas champions. While I was judging, one deck in particular caught my eye: a Mono-Blue Snow deck, featuring a ton of permission spells backed up with Teferi, and Aeon Chronicler as the kill condition.

Kyle Sanchez hasn’t written an article in a while… however, despite the long hiatus, it appears he is a crazy as ever. All in all, Kyle has not had a good Christmas. Battle Royale loss, unwanted gifts, and a car accident on Christmas Eve… not a great way to spend the holidays. Still, the New Year is coming, and things can only get better… or can they?

The dark sky flashed and the clouds became illuminated as bolts of lightning struck down across my precious city. I had a date with Eli, and I couldn’t disappoint. I’d had power problems the entire day, but the battle must go on…
I would imagine it would be hard being a Sliver. I mean, you meet a new friend one day and up sprouts an extra head out of nowhere. Then another friend joins the group and your arms turn into some kind of weapon. Then one of them goes away and your extra head disappears. Another one comes down and you start shooting webs out of your butt or you grow spines on your back. Seems like it would be frustrating, to say the least.
