I don’t think there were any interesting picks in this draft. What I should take was always fairly obvious.
This draft was very frustrating since pack 1 was so good but packs 2 and 3 were just miserable. Somehow there were simply no good Black or Red cards opened and even though I was in the perfect position for this draft my deck ended up only slightly above average instead of spectacular as it seemingly should’ve been.
As frustrating as the draft was the games were even worse. Game 1 I was going second and had a draw with two Swamps and a bunch of spells that was quite good if I could draw a Mountain or even another Swamp. I didn’t play a third land until turn 5. Game 2 I kept a draw with two Mountains Fire-Belly Changeling Inner-Flame Acolyte and some Black cards. I continued to draw Black cards and my hand got Mind Shattered before I played a Swamp. Ah Magic…
