Daily Digest:Building A Better Burn Deck

Burn has had enough success in Modern to be considered a contender; it’s just missing a little something to put it over the top.

Some thought it would be Treasure Cruise, but the recent influx of Siege Rhinos, Timely Reinforcements, and Kor Firewalkers had made life difficult.
Perhaps we need to go bigger in order to fight those cards effectively.

Demigod of Revenge takes huge chunks out of your opponent’s life total (especially if you can return a second one) each turn, so it mitigates the effects
of a little lifegain. Cards like Snapcaster Mage and Faithless Looting ensure you never run out of gas.

Is this the perfect solution? Maybe not, but it’s a start.
