Welcome back to the Season Two Invitational countdown blog!
Yesterday, I went over everything related to the side events at the Season Two Invitational. Between the two (yes, two!) separate Friday Night Magic tournaments on Friday, the Roanoke Open on Saturday, and the two Roanoke Classics on Sunday, everyone should now have a better idea of what side events are available on December 1-3.
When one comes to an Invitational weekend, most of the time it’s to play in the main event and test your skills against some of the best players on the SCG Tour. For others, it’s to play in as many side events as possible because you just love the value that the Infinite Challenge option represents. And with the addition of the Command Zone, even Commander players have their own area to do their thing.
But something that everyone has in common at Invitationals? Their love of special guests! And at the Season Two Invitational, there are going to be quite a few. Let’s check ’em out!
Jason Felix
Jason Felix has contributed more than 80 illustrations for Magic since his debut in the original Zendikar block. His famous cards include All Is Dust, Archive Trap, Codex Shredder, Creeping Tar Pit, Laboratory Maniac, Warping Wail, and Wastes.
