Friday, I went over everything related to the main event of the Season Two Invitational. Between the Invitational schedule, Invitational prizes, and how to learn if you’re qualified or not, everyone should now have a better idea of all the details of one of Magic’s most exciting tournaments.
But there are many people who aren’t qualified for the main event of the Season Two Invitational weekend. It is a relatively difficult tournament to qualify for, after all, but that’s what makes it such a special one. But if you’re one of those players on the outside looking in, worry not! The Season Two Invitational weekend’s side event schedule has something for everyone. So let’s take a look!
Friday Side Events
So you’re looking to get your Magic playing started early during your stay in the Star City? Well, that’s a decision I can get behind! The hall opens at 10am on Friday morning at the Berglund Center, so stop on by after a hearty breakfast and get prepared to battle. With a Sealed Spectacular at 11am, a Two-Headed Giant Sealed Spectacular at 2pm, and two (yes, two!) separate Friday Night Magic tournaments at 7pm, there will be plenty to do all Friday long for those who weren’t fortunate enough to qualify for the main event.

Saturday Side Events
So playing all day Friday just wasn’t enough for ya, huh? I like your style. That’s why we’ve got even more side events for you on Saturday! First things first, the hall opens at 8am on Saturday for the Season Two Invitational weekend, not 10am like it did on Friday, so prepare accordingly. And what are you preparing for? A boatload of Challenge events being run all day long, Day One of the Roanoke Open, and Turbo events of all shapes and sizes! Suffice it to say that Saturday has no shortage of things to do.

The Command Zone is a designated area reserved exclusively for fans wanting to play and/or watch others play Commander. Most importantly, entry into the Command Zone is free!
