First printed in Lorwyn, Thoughtseize is regarded as the best hand-disruption spell in Magic history, and has been a staple for black decks in every format it has been legal in.
Thoughtseize has been reprinted three times (Theros, Iconic Masters, Masterpiece Series: Amonkhet Invocations) with Double Masters coming has its fourth. Its inclusion in Double Masters comes with a brand new artwork by Chuck Lukacs, as well as a Showcase frame.
