Snack Time Getting More Magical With Upcoming Crossover

Mythical Meats to offer Magic: The Gathering themed meat sticks

Fresh Meat illustrated by Dave Allsop

Cast those Food tokens aside, Magic: The Gathering is delving back into the edible entertainment realm with flavored beef sticks through a partnership with Mythical Meats.

Following previous collaborations with Hot Pockets and IHOP, MTG is stepping into the beef stick game alongside Mythical Meats — a company known for making exotic game meat snack sticks inspired by legendary creatures in fantasy lore. Now Magic players can rip open a display of beef sticks packed with flavors representing each basic land and Ravnica guild.

The snacks come in a few product offerings, one of which is a random sampling of 10 flavors in a $30 variety pack. A basic land combo pack will cost $15 and for those who insist on buying singles, individual flavors will cost $3.50.

For those that need spoilers, the 15 flavors include:

  • Original (Plains)
  • Teriyaki (Island)
  • Peppered (Swamp)
  • Habanero (Mountain)
  • Garlic Parmesan (Forest)
  • Apple Cheddar (Azorius)
  • Landjaeger (Orzhov)
  • Chipotle Lime (Boros)
  • Honey Brown Sugar (Selesnya)
  • Bloody Mary (Dimir)
  • Sriracha Honey (Izzet)
  • Spicy Jerk (Simic)
  • Smoky Cherry (Rakdos)
  • Mango Jalapeño (Gruul)
  • Spicy Dill Pickle (Golgari)

Mythical Meats offers various meat snacks, hot sauces, and gaming accessories and isn’t a stranger to Wizards of the Coast (WotC) crossovers. Its previous team-up came with Dungeons & Dragons and an Exotic Game Snack Sticks Class Pack.

No release date has been announced yet and the Mythical Meats website hasn’t provided any information, but Dexerto announced the product on Monday.
