Wizards of the Coast (WotC) announced the MagicCon and Pro Tour schedule for 2025 today.
The massive Magic celebrations return next year with stops in the Midwest, Southwest, and Southeast with Chicago in February, Las Vegas in June, and Atlanta in September.
- February 21–23, 2025: MagicCon: Chicago, featuring the first Pro Tour of the 2025 season
- June 20–22, 2025: MagicCon: Las Vegas, featuring the second Pro Tour of the 2025 season
- September 26–28, 2025: MagicCon: Atlanta, featuring the third Pro Tour of the 2025 season
These MagicCons join the already announced Magic: The Gathering Spotlight Series for 2025, leading to a jampacked year of Magic festivals. More information on the MagicCons will be available later, including side events, panels, and more. Notably, the date for World Championship 31 will also be announced later but it will cap the year of competitve play in December.
Upcoming RCQ Promos
WotC also unveiled the next round of RCQ promos coming for the November 16, 2024–March 22, 2025 season. New-art versions of Mayhem Devil and Force of Despair will be available at RCQs run by WPN stores. These RCQs feed into the third round of Regional Championships for 2024–25 that will take place around spring of 2025. The format for the RCQs can be Standard or Limited.
