Come on, man.
What is up with this? Back in my day we had a little more respect for our lands. Sometimes we played Tarnished Citadel just to help a two-color deck work, and we were glad to. But these days with your Instant Grams and Hippity Hop musics, you think you can waltz in here, play whatever cards you please, and your lands will just have to deal with it.
Yeah, I know you have Servant of the Conduit that makes mana of any color, but you’re also trying to curve Voltaic Brawler into Spell Queller. How in the world do you expect to do that? The gall…the unbridled temerity you need to even attempt that, much less attempt it in a Grand Prix, it’s alarming to say the least.
And what’s your plan if you run out of energy, huh? Then your Servant of the Conduits and your Aether Hubs won’t be there to bail you out. Did you even consider that possibility, or are you still living in your fantasy land where everything works out and nothing bad ever happens? Because I’m not going to be there to pick up the pieces when you’re stuck with six uncastable cards in your hand. No sirree, Bob. You’re on your own.
But…if you’re not going to listen to reason, I’ll at least help you make the best manabase possible with this mess. Right now you have fourteen green sources, thirteen blue sources, twelve red sources, and nine white sources.
Well…actually…that’s not too bad. With Servant of the Conduit and Attune with Aether providing fixing for your off-colors and your second green source, you shouldn’t have too much issue finding your colors. And the use of fastlands and Aether Hubs means that your lands will often enter the battlefield untapped so long as you can save a basic land or two for turns 4 and 5.
You’re likely a little short on green sources because it’s so important to have them early to enable your fixers, but your lack of one-drops means that fitting a Lumbering Falls or two into the deck shouldn’t affect how smooth your draws are.
And the cards in your deck, when played on-curve, are very powerful. You have the best creatures at every spot in the curve, backed up by a 6/6 trampler for four mana and Tamiyo, Field Researcher, which is great with such efficient creatures.
As for energy, you have 25 cards that make it and plenty of cards that let you use a lot of it should you find the need for a sink. A couple of Thopter tokens may not look like much, but if you stall the ground they can do some serious damage.
…okay. I’m not saying I approve, but maybe this deck isn’t going to ruin Magic. Maybe it’s just the way the world is going these days.
I still think your music is crap.
