With MagicCon: Las Vegas 2026 just under one month away, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has given a first look at the contents of its Festival in a Box.
While the official Secret Lair page is still under construction, WotC’s Magic: The Gathering newsletter provided a first look at the box’s contents, which includes a Mystery Booster 2 Display Booster box, three promo cards, and the Viva Las Rakdos Secret Lair drop.
From what can be seen in the email, two of the promos appear to be traditional foil retro frame copies of Consecrated Sphinx and Counterspell, while the third is a test card – In Residence. As for the Secret Lair drop, we can see five cards – Talisman of Indulgence, Dark Petition, Lightning Greaves, Beseech the Mirror, and Light Up the Stage – each with new, Rakdos-themed artwork.
According to the email, Festival in a Box: Las Vegas 2026 will be available through the Secret Lair Marketplace beginning April 13. Those interested will need head over to the product page at 8 AM PT, sign in with a valid Wizards Account, then add the product to their cart in order to be added to the pre-queue.
MagicCon: Las Vegas is scheduled to take place May 1-3, 2026.
