Riot Games kicked off Gen Con this year with the Riftbound Creator Event, revealing new dates and details for what’s to come for the game in 2027.
Legacy – January 29, 2027
Legacy will be Riftbound’s sixth set and the first of 2027, scheduled to release on January 29.
Reckoning – April 30, 2027
Riftbound’s seventh expansion is titled Reckoning and is scheduled to release on April 30.
Details for Set 8 and Set 9 and being kept under wraps at this time, but we may not have to wait long, as Riftbound’s State of the Game for August starts next week.
State of the Game
August 3–5, Riftbound will be revealing more details for the road ahead. Starting off, we’ll get a look at the game’s products and sets heading into 2027, followed by the latest on Riftbound Organized Play on Tuesday. Last but not least, we’ll learn what’s next for Riftbound creators in 2027, as well as a look at the game’s roadmap.
