Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced they will be hosting a prerelease party for Strixhaven: School of Mages on the remote tabletop Magic app — Spelltable.
The Strixhaven Prerelease Party will begin on April 16 and continue through April 18. The event will be run remotely via Discord and Spelltable, in conjunction with Channel Fireball and local game stores, where players will need to purchase their Strixhaven Prerelease Packs or Commander (2021 Edition) decks.
- Day 1: Friday, April 16, 3 PM to 10 PM PT
- Day 2: Saturday, April 17, 7 AM to 10 PM PT
- Day 3: Sunday, April 18, 7 AM to 6 PM PT
On the day of the event, players looking to participate will need to join the event’s Discord server, login to Spelltable, and then simply select the Strixhaven: School of Mages Launch Party option.

- Choose excellence. “Earn points for your college by joining the team, chatting strategy exclusively with them, and playing all weekend long.”
