Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC), take a look at this sweet, legendary Equipment from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty — Eater of Virtue!
Whenever equipped creature dies, exile it.
Equipped creature gets +2/+0.
As long as a card exile with Eater of Virtue has flying, equipped creature has flying. The same is true for first strike, double strike, deathtouch, haste, hexproof, indestructible, lifelink, menace, protection, reach, trample, and vigilance.
Equip 1
Eater of Virtue is definitely one of coolest and most unique cards we’ve seen from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty.
Costing just one mana to cast as well as equip, it’s an easy +2/+0 at the minimum, while on the top end, it can pull off some really wild effects, most reminiscent of cards like Soulflayer.
Imagine in Standard, suiting up a card like Katilda, Dawnhart Martyr, having it run its course, then the next equipped creature will not only get +2/+0, but also flying, lifelink, and protection from Vampires. Outside of Standard’s limited card pool, the opportunities grow even more impressive, with cards like Questing Beast, Vampire Nighthawk, or if you’re feeling really adventurous, Chromanticore.
