First up is Ethereal Escort, a three-mana 3/3 mythic Spirit with lifelink.

Ethereal Escort expands the functionality of perpetually by being able to give any card in your hand lifelink perpetually. This means you aren’t restricted to giving a creature lifelink. Need a planeswalker or removal spell to have lifelink or how about an equipment or enchantment? Ethereal Escort appears to have many situations covered to make sure you gain however much life you need.

Angel of Eternal Dawn makes it day and never lets the game to night it it is on the battlefield.

The three-mana 2/4 flying Angel not only controls the day/night cycle, but prevents your opponents from casting spells with mana value greater than the number of turns they have begun. If ramp is a problem, Angel of Eternal Dawn has got your back.

Sigardian Evangel is two-mana 3/1 Human with an interesting take on the conjure mechanic.

Sigardian Evangel conjures another copy when it enters the battlefield, but you have to discard it at the beginning of the next end step. As long as you have plenty of mana, you can chain as many copies of it as you can pay for. It also allows you to play aggressively by tapping down opposing permanents each time a Sigardian Evangel enters the battlefield,

Divine Purge is a new take on a temporary mass removal spell.

For three mana you get to clear the board of all creatures and artifacts with mana value 3 or less, but they can be played later from exile for an additional two mana and the card enters the battlefield tapped. While it isn’t a permanent answer, Diving Purge will certainly buy you time to handle the cards when they come back.

Angel of Unity calls back to the party mechanic from Zendikar Rising.

This two-mana 1/3 flyer with lifelink plays well with party members in your hand by buffing them perpetually by +1+1 upon entering the battlefield and casting over party spells. It also plays well with life gain decks as an Angel and Cleric, two relevant creature types for the archetype.

Inquisitor Captain encourages building a deck with many creatures with mana value 3 or less to gain a unique payoff.

As long as there are 20 or more creatures in your library, hand, and graveyard you get to seek two creatures with mana value 3 or less and put one on the battlefield and one in your hand. It isn’t quite Collected Company in white, but Collected Company isn’t a 3/3 with vigilance either.

Suntail Squadron and Expedition Supplier call back to conjure cards from Jumpstart: Historic Horizons as they create copies of already existing Magic cards.

Suntail Hawk Utility Knife

Suntail Squadron conjures up as many Suntail Hawks as your hand can hold while Expedition Supplier rewards you for playing Humans by conjuring a copy of Utility Knife onto the battlefield the first time a Human enters the battlefield per turn.

Slayer’s Bounty is a legendary artifact – clue that lets you take a look at your opponent’s creatures in hand so you can plan out how to destroy them. It plays well with other Clues as well, as you get to draft from its spellbook whenever you sacrifice one. And as a clue itself, you can sacrifice Slayer’s Bounty to draw a card and trigger the draft as well.

Slayer’s Bounty spellbook contains:

  • Bounty Agent
  • Outflank
  • Bound in Gold
  • Bring to Trial
  • Glass Casket
  • Reprobation
  • Collar the Culprit
  • Compulsory Rest
  • Expel
  • Fairgrounds Warden
  • Iron Verdict
  • Luminous Bonds
  • Raise the Alarm
  • Seal Away
  • Summary Judgment

Faithful Disciple is another spellbook card that plays well with Enchantress strategies. The spellbook is chock full of situational enchantments that has you covered whether you need a removal spell, an anthem, or even a win condition.

Faithful Disciple’s spellbook contains:

  • Anointed Procession
  • Cathars’ Crusade
  • Authority of the Consuls
  • Sigil of the Empty Throne
  • All That Glitters
  • Banishing Light
  • Divine Visitation
  • Duelist’s Heritage
  • Glorious Anthem
  • Gauntlets of Light
  • Teleportation Circle
  • Angelic Gift
  • Spectral Steel
  • Cleric Class
  • Angelic Exaltation
