Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Kotaku Australia, a popular, Common mana creature returns in Time Spiral Remastered with a timeshifted frame — Elvish Mystic!
First printed in Magic 2014, Elvish Mystic filled the role of go-to Standard mana creature in the absence of the more iconic Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise. Elvish Mystic has been printed seven times with the eighth coming in Time Spiral Remastered.
Kotaku also previewed the return of one of Magic’s most storied green creatures — Tarmogoyf!
A native of Future Sight in the original Time Spiral block, this is the first time Tarmogoyf’s original artwork by Justin Murray will be featured on a modern card frame.
Also previewed alongside Elvish Mystic and Tarmogoyf were four other green cards: Pendelhaven Elder, Keen Sense, Utopia Vow, and Llanowar Mentor.
