Sorcery: Contested Realm, a growing trading card game featured at SCG CON events, is expanding its organized play program with a new in-store event — the Cornerstone Championships!
Cornerstone Championships are competitive events that come with kits to support eight players, providing participation promos, an exclusive winner promo, and extra promos for a judge and community champion.

The first Cornerstone Championships kit includes:
- 1 Foil alternate-art Den of Evil prize card for the champion (single-kit events) or top finishers (multi-kit events)
- 8 Non-foil alternate-art Den of Evil promotional cards for participants, featuring the art of Caio Calazans.
- 1 Foil alternate-art Cranky Overseer promotional card to reward the event judge, with art by Alan Pollack.
- 1 Foil Swap promotional card to recognise a community champion, illustrated by Drew Tucker.
These kits will be available until Q3 of 2026.
Stores looking to host Cornerstone Championships can work toward that goal by supporting regular play through the Sorcery Play Network and hosting events with the Gothic Store Kit. Cornerstone Championships can be any format a store chooses, though Constructed is the default format for many communities.
For more information and for stores looking to host these events, read the original announcement from Erik’s Curiosa Limited.
