Bo Jackson Battle Arena has revealed the next cover hero for its 2027 Edition — Shaquille O’Neal.
A four-time NBA champion, Shaq will be joining the BoBA roster under the nickname “Diesel” and will succeed Patrick Mahomes (Merlomes) as the game’s next Cover Hero starting early next year.
When Mahomes was revealed as the 2026 Cover Hero back in June, the announcement included a look at his one-of-one autographed gold card, but unfortunately we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see Shaq’s BoBA card debut.
Bo Jackson Battle Arena’s next set, the 2026 Update, releases October 22.
