Alexander Rosdahl won Sunday’s SCG Tour Online Standard $5K Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Championship Qualifier #3 with Sultai Ramp (Yorion).
Creatures (7)
Lands (32)
Spells (41)
Rosdahl earned an invite to the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Championship and $1,500 by winning the 175-person event without dropping a single match. As the #1 seed in the elimination rounds, Rosdahl proceeded to take down Ryosuke Urase on Naya Adventures (Jegantha), Drew Christensen on Sultai Ramp (Yorion), and Kouta Ehara on Gruul Adventures on their way to the title.
Sultai Ramp (Yorion) was the third most played deck in the event, with three copies making the Top 12. Rosdahl was equipped with three copies of Elder Gargaroth, a card that is a huge roadblock to Gruul Adventures — the most played deck by a wide margin. Gruul Adventures was more than 30% of the field and also accounted for three of the twelve decks in the elimination rounds. Ehara, the runner-up, was the highest finisher on Gruul Adventures, marking their second straight Top 12 in SCG Tour Online Championship Qualifiers.
