You may pay 2RR rather than pay this spell’s mana cost. If the 2RR was paid, an opponent discards any number of cards, then draws that many.
Search your library for up to three cards, put them into your hand, shuffle, then discard three cards at random.
Fervent Mastery is a unique sorcery, allowing you to cast it for a reduced cost at a benefit to your opponent. Should you choose to cast Fervent Mastery for the slightly reduced cost of 2RR, your opponent has the option to discard their unneeded cards and draw new ones. Your benefit, however, is to search for your key cards… with the small risk of discarding them in the process. While inherently risky, decks that utilize cards like Hollowed One, can reduce that risk and even turn the random discards into a positive.
