A new Historic Anthology for MTG Arena will be coming out in early March, according to an email sent to players who have qualified for the Kaldheim Championship.

The Player Information and Questionnaire email that all players qualified for the tournament on March 24-26 received said more information about the Historic Anthology will be available in the coming week on Daily MTG and Magic.GG.

A Historic Anthology content update will be released for MTG Arena in early March that introduces new cards to the Historic Constructed format. More information will be available in the coming week on DailyMTG and magic.gg. Because of this, we recommend that you focus your initial preparation time for the Standard Constructed format until then once you receive your fully-stocked account.

Fully-stocked accounts will receive additional resources to ensure they have access to new content prior to the new content being released.

No other details about the update were given, though this will be the fourth Historic Anthology to introduce new cards to the format on MTG Arena. Previous Historic Anthologies have added around 20 to 27 non-Standard legal reprints that are purchasable as a set with four copies of each card. The cards will also be craftable using wildcards.

Format-shifting cards like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Burning-Tree Emissary, Goblin Matron, and Mind Stone are some of the cards that have been injected into the format since its creation.
