As part of an ongoing series of weekly changes, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the updates and changes coming with week four of Core Set 2021 to Magic Online.
Limited Set Championship Qualifier
- Date: Saturday, July 25
- Time: 7 AM PT
- Entry fee: 40 MOCS Qualifier Points
- Format: Core Set 2021 Sealed
The winner of the Limited Set Championship Qualifier qualifies for the Zendikar Rising Set Championship on MTG Arena.
Modern Set Championship Qualifier
- Date: Sunday, July 26
- Time: 7 AM PT
- Entry fee: 40 MOCS Qualifier Points
- Format: Modern
The winner of the Modern Set Championship Qualifier qualifies for the Zendikar Rising Set Championship on MTG Arena.
Double Masters Events
Double Masters events are scheduled to begin next Friday, July 31. Players can enjoy “Sealed Deck, Draft, and Phantom Draft….” as well a a Super Qualifier on Sunday, August 2.
Magic Online + GEN CON Online
Magic Online is partnering with GEN CON and Pastimes for a unique MTG experience, with “Vintage, Legacy, Double Masters, and a special Gen Con Cube” events.
During this special event, players will also be able to “build decks for the Vintage and Legacy events without having the cards in their collection.”
Registration for the event is available now.
Vintage Cube
Beginning July 1 and running through July 29, players can enjoy the Vintage Cube on Magic Online. This unique Cube is “overflowing with iconic cards from Magic‘s almost 27-year history.”
