Mrjkl drafted a close-to-perfect Boros Cycling deck in the Top 8, even getting to use Zirda as a companion. Six cycling creatures (including four copies of Drannith Healer) and three copies of Blisterspit Gremlin rounded out the creatures with two copies of Zenith Flare tying the deck together.

Mrjkl was the only deck in the Top 8 with a companion, though a Gyruda, Doom of Depths was drafted but abandoned. An Obosh, the Preypiercer made the maindeck of _Lenny_’s runner-up deck and a Keruga, the Macrosage showed up in Eaglov’s third-place deck, both taking advantage of the cards in normal draft decks.
