Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has released dates and information on the important Magic Esports events leading up to the release of Zendikar Rising.
The 2020 Season Grand Finals will take place October 9-11, and will feature “…32 players — the top 16 from the Players Tour Finals and the Top 16 from the 2020 Mythic Invitational…” competing for “$250,000 in prizes on MTG Arena.”
Beginning in September and running through November, players can compete to earn their spot in the Zendikar Rising Championship on MTG Area. Similar to previous Qualifier Weekends, the events will take place over the course of two days and award gems as well as qualifications.
