Jacobson, Sultai Midrange, Wins First MagicFest Online

Over the course of this past week, players took to MTG Arena for Daily Qualifier events, where placing 5-1 or better would qualify them for the first MagicFest Online Weekly Championship.

After battling his way through 14 rounds of Swiss, Platinum Pro Mark Jacobson (Sultai Midrange) entered the Top 8 as the sixth seed and was paired against the third seed Andre Santos (Bant Ramp).

After swiftly taking down Santos, Jacobson moved onto the semifinals, where he defeated Bolun Zhang and his innovative Four-Color Superfriends deck.

In the finals, Jacobson was paired against the first seed, Aniol Alcaraz (Rakdos Sacrifice). After a hard fought match, Jacobson emerged victorious, defeating Alcaraz to become the first MagicFest Online Weekly Champion.
