Wizards of the Coast (WotC) announced more details surrounding the upcoming release of Innistrad: Double Feature today.

Innistrad: Double Feature is a special draftable set available only at WPN stores that combines Innistrad: Midnight Hunt and Innistrad: Crimson Vow into one set scheduled for release on Jan. 28, 2022. Each booster pack contains fifteen (15) cards with cards from each set, broken down like this:

  • 4 commons from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt
  • 4 commons from Innistrad: Crimson Vow
  • 2 uncommons from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt
  • 2 uncommons from Innistrad: Crimson Vow
  • 1 rare or mythic rare from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt
  • 1 rare or mythic rare from Innistrad: Crimson Vow
  • 1 silver screen foil card

Each pack will also contain one double-faced card from each set. The silver screen foil style is a treatment like the Eternal Night showcase treatments from the previous two sets but with traditional foiling with a special silver substrate and a glossy varnish finish.

Each pack has one silver screen foil card and it can be any card from the set, so it appears it can be any of the 534 cards, as the Innistrad: Double Feature card list has every nonbasic land card from each set on it. This means some packs will contain three rares.

WPN Premium stores will have access to a preview event on Jan. 21 where players can draft and build sealed decks with the special set and receive an exclusive Endless Ranks of the Dead promo card with the silver screen foil treatment.
