Hopp earned an invite to the Strixhaven Championship and $1,500 by winning the 278-person event without dropping a single match. Hopp cruised into the elimination rounds as the only undefeated player, then took down two players on Sultai Ramp (Yorion) before defeating Will Pulliam in the finals on Gruul Adventures. Hopp was the only Dimir Rogues (Lurrus) player in the Top 12 and only registered a single card from Strixhaven: School of Mages, a sideboard copy of Test of Talents. The blue uncommon was the only Strixhaven card in the finals.
