Green Gets Graveyard Hate And Cost Reducer In Cemetery Prowler In Innistrad: Crimson Vow

Green card in cycle packs quite a punch on the battlefield while providing additional value.

Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Weibo, check out the green card in a cycle of mythic rares from Innistrad: Crimson Vow — Cemetery Prowler!

A three-mana 3/4 with vigilance is already a lot on rate, but Cemetery Prowler brings more to the table than just stats.

Vigilance

Whenever Cemetery Prowler enters the battlefield or attacks, exile a card from a graveyard.

Spells you cast cost 1 less to cast for each card type they share with cards exiled with Cemetery Prowler.

Similar to Cemetery Protector, Cemetery Prowler exiles a card in a graveyard upon entering the battlefield but can also exile a card when it attacks. While Cemetery Protector creates Human tokens for playing cards that share a type with the exiled card, Cemetery Prowler allows you play cheaper spells based on the exiled card or cards. A green deck will naturally want to target creatures to make the reduce the cost of other creatures, but can also find other synergies depending on the deck. Being a three-mana 3/4 should also allow it to attack pretty freely so that it can exile multiple cards over its life cycle.

What do you think of Cemetery Prowler? Do you like this more or less than the white card in the cycle?
