Gavin Verhey uses today’s episode of Good Morning Magic to ask a handful of WotC employees, “what’s in your deckbox?”
Verhey takes a digital tour/work-from-home approach of talking to Wizards of the Coast (WotC) staff members and figure out their favorite decks to play. He talks with employees across the company from Magic designers, admin, project managers, and more.
Most of the employees in the video talk about special Commander decks, but Bella Guo. a devops engineer, talked about a prized Modern deck assembled before taking the job at WotC. The Commander decks range from generals they helped design to decks built around their favorite card, like Mary Kathryn Amiotte, a retail development specialist, who dives into her Kess, Dissident Mage Doomsday deck.
Verhey wraps up the video asking for viewers to submit other #WotCStaff to interview for the next time he does this kind of episode.
