Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Reid Duke, one of Magic’s most iconic creatures returns with new artwork and a Showcase frame — Dark Confidant!
First printed in Ravnica: City of Guilds and modeled after Bob Maher Jr. —who designed the card after winning the 2004 Magic: The Gathering Invitational — Dark Confidant has seen significant play in every format it has been legal in and was famously included in 13 winning decklists at Worlds 2007.
Dark Confidant has since been reprinted three times, in both Modern Masters and Modern Masters 2015 Edition, as well as a DCI Promotional card. Double Masters will be its fourth reprinting, and introduces not only a new artwork by Mark Zug, but also a new Showcase frame.
