Delver of Secrets Returns At Uncommon In Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

The iconic creature from original Innistrad returns in Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Javier Dominguez, take a look at the return of one of Magic’s most iconic creatures in Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Delver of Secrets!

At the beginning of your upkeep, look at the top card of your library. You may reveal that card. If an instant or sorcery card is revealed this way, transform Delver of Secrets.

Delver of Secrets is a card that hardly needs any introduction.

First printed as a common in the original Innistrad, Delver was so strong that it formed its own archetype, represented by powerful creatures and cheap interactive spells. It dominated during its time in Standard alongside cards like Geist of Saint Traft, Snapcaster Mage, and Runechanter’s Pike, and continued to shine after moving on to Eternal formats. Delver of Secrets has been printed twice (Innistrad, From the Vault: Transform) with its third coming in Innistrad: Midnight Hunt.

So what do you think about Delver of Secret’s return to Standard? Will it be just as dominate as it was back in 2012? Let us know in the comments!

Innistrad: Midnight Hunt is currently scheduled for release on September 24. View our official preview gallery.
