Spells (25)
Brasil Jr. earned an invite to the Strixhaven Championship and $1,500 by winning the 342-person event while only dropping a single match in the Swiss. Brasil Jr. sliced through the elimination rounds only losing a single game in the quarterfinals to Karl Sarap on Mono-Red Aggro❄. He beat Tomohiro Nakagawa in the semis in pseudo-mirror match, though Nakagawa opted for cards like Irencrag Pyromancer and Rielle, the Everwise without a companion. Brasil Jr. defeated Toni Ramis Pascual on Dimir Rogues (Lurrus) in the finals to take the crown.

Despite Sultai Ramp (Yorion) being the most played deck by a wide margin, only one copy of the deck made the elimination rounds in the hands of Alexander Flynn. Jeskai Cycling — with or without Lurrus of the Dream-Den — has moved up to the second-most played deck, followed closely by Naya Adventures, though it can be subdivided into traditional builds, a more token-based build, and even the evolution of the deck built around a combo kill with Unleash Fury and Kazuul’s Fury in the aptly named Naya Fury.
