Whenever Risona, Asari Commander deals combat damage to a player, if it doesn’t have an indestructible counter on it, put an indestructible counter on it.
Whenever combat damage is dealt to you, remove an indestructible counter from Risona.
A three-mana 3/3, Risona, Asari Commander has average stats, but makes up for that with haste and the potential to become indestructible. While dealing combat damage to gain an indestructible counter is a somewhat difficult requirement, once it gains the counter, it counts as a modified creature – opening the door to synergize with the set’s numerous cards with the modified keyword.
